I believe that the best art tells a story, or evokes a feeling. I do this with representational paintings in oils.

I live in Texas near rural farmland, and my art reflects this. I also paint commissioned paintings of pets and show horses, as well as people portraits. I am fascinated by the many ways that animals can express themselves, and capture this in my portraits.
